Why So Serious?

Guess who my favorite Joker is. Go on, try me.

So I was lollygagging in the internet one day when I stumbled upon posts in 9gag and Facebook about different Jokers that have existed in media history, as a response to Jared Leto's take on the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad. In those posts, people would ask people who their favorite Joker is.

And this little tribute is my answer to that question. I've always had soft spots for villains with tragic backstories that make them who they are, and Heath Ledger's Joker has some pretty serious stories - serious, like the realistic, plausible kind that you feel can actually happen in real life. Even his fan theory sounds too good to be true. Also, that Glasgow smile - the icing on top of it all!

Okay, I'm done fan-ranting. Ha. Haha. Hahahaha. 


Oh, and one more thing - as per usual of my portraiture style, this portrait focuses less on accuracy and more on style. Yay for style!
